"Been with Melissa Rodrigues, in Georgetown, (& Lauren & her several other employees) for around 5 years, after my previous longtime State Farm agent in Austin retired. When I’d in quick succession had losses includng extensive repairs hitting a cement pillar, and some fender-venders, State Farm corporate understandably cancelled my policy (after always promptly covering everything!)— when I sadly totalled a truck, 3 1/2 years ago. I moved on to another insurer, for 3 years.But I was totally surprised, last month, in December 2024 when Melissa Rodrigues office called ME to say my record was now back to a spot where we could save $1,000 / year on our already-existing State Farm homeowner policy, if we came back to State Farm, and bundled my biz truck policy with homeowners, —and save an additional $420 / year over my liability premium with Kemper, whom I’d switched to. We said “Do it!” A refund check from State Farm for over $1,000 on the homeowner’s came within a month, (since the new discount meant our escrow had overpaid based on our old premium.) Better yet, when my wife’s vehicle died last month of old age and transmission problems, Lauren lit a fire under State Farm corporate, to have underwriting amend our policy, (for only $5.89 / month), to allow my wife to drive the minivan of a friend, now overseas, doing missionary work on Cypress. She will drive that minivan for the next 6 months. (He had dropped his coverage for the duration of his trip) . We just today received the declaration page from Lauren noting we are covered driving this non-owned vehicle, and thanks to God and this hardworking agency, things are turning up roses even after my bad driving streak, several years ago. I recommend both this agency and State Farm in general —and have never had an issue with the resolution of any claim or issue!"
